Mold Remediation Engineering in Suffolk County Birchwood on the Green is a residential complex of 45 buildings located in Oakdale (Long Island), New York. Poor soil drainage conditions in combination with building deficiencies contributed to water accumulation in the basements. This led to high humidity levels causing mold growth in some of the buildings. Engineered Building Inspections, P.C. was retained to evaluate the condition. A review of the buildings and property was performed to isolate and identify the sources of basement water intrusion. EBI prepared drawings and specifications to eliminate the water intrusion and remediate the mold conditions. A team of EBI representatives oversaw the project during construction resulting in dry basements and a healthier environment. Engineered Building Inspections, P.C. went on to provide the development with balcony inspections to remedy deteriorated metal and concrete conditions.
